Urgently seeking the following...

1) Foodbank items

Most needed at the moment are tinned sponge puddings & tinned vegetables.

2) A Transport Van  

We have been needing this for a very long time but the need feels much more urgent since we opened the Foodbank which involves fairly constant movement of vast volumes of stock supplies donated.

We are so very grateful to receive these donated goods but a van is the vehicle we need to shift things from a-b.

Reasons it's needed:

a.  We could start delivering food to local elderly who are too frail to collect from the Foodbank in person. 

b.  To move goods & deliver bags for our Christmas Bag Scheme.  

This annual event involves the transportation of enoromous quanties (over £3000 worth of goods in 2011, 2010 & 2009) of bags and donated items to and from the sort zone and the agencies who give the bags out to local people struggling to afford Christmas.

c.  We have a raft of project ideas - see Capp Van section - and we need our own bespoke vehicle before we can make any of them happen.

So ..we know what we need this van to do but the words "make, model & specification" make us all want to run away and eat chocolate for comfort.

Is there anyone who would be willing to lend us a hand to research & source this much needed vehicle ???
