New Music Nights raises vital funds

On Friday 8 September New Music Nights invited Loveworks along to their monthly New Music Nights event so that they could hear for the first time just how successful their annual music festival, New Music Fest 2017 turned out to be.

New Music Nights is a charity which helps young people in our community access opportunities to perform and improve their musical talents. They can also provide support in a professional studio and once per year, they also put on New Music Fest at Reigate Rugby Club.

‘It was the first time Loveworks has benefited from a music event and we all had a blast’ says charity officer, Jen Sanderson. The charity really got involved over the course of the 24 hour event, volunteers would offer to fetch food and drink for festival goers in return for a small donation as well as all profits from tickets sales benefiting Loveworks projects.

Both Tim Hatari (Chair) and Jen Sanderson from Loveworks were on hand to receive a cheque for £2,000 presented by Tim Glynne-Jones of the charity New Music Nights.

Loveworks would like to thank New Music Nights and the community for their wonderful generosity.
