Raven Housing Trust support Loveworks for the community

Raven Housing Trust are working together with Loveworks to improve the lives of many residents in the Merstham community with a wonderful storage facility for their new food bank.

For many months, Loveworks volunteers have been trying to continue delivering a service for those living in food crisis with a temporary pop-up food bank. In 2017, we helped 1100 people including 330 children, despite not having a home for six months.

It’s not always been easy but now we are now back up and delivering our services from the new community hub at The Merstham Mix. We will be there every Wednesday (4-6pm) and Saturday (2.30-4pm). It’s easy to get a voucher. Find out if you qualify with one of our food bank partners: How we help

We also support a Reigate food bank at Reigate Baptist Church on a Monday evening from 6.15pm to 7.45pm.

The role of Loveworks volunteers is to make people feel welcome as walking through the door of a food bank is not an easy thing to do and we want to try to reduce the stigma associated with a visit to the food bank.

If you know of anyone living in food crisis please let them know that we are here for them. For further information, please visit Loveworks.
