Reigate charity benefit from local Music Festival

New Music Fest 2017 took place on 17/18 June on a scorching hot summer weekend in Reigate, Surrey. The annual music festival has grown year on year with this year producing the biggest crowd to date.  It was a community event to remember with all ages enjoying the music line up, along with great food, drink, camping and more.

This year, the organisers over at New Music Nights chose Loveworks.org to benefit from the not for profit event.  New Music Nights are also a charitable organisation which are able to offer young people an opportunity to play live music every month.

At the Loveworks stand, festival goers were able to find out more about Loveworks projects, including Way2Go a new resilience based course aiming to help young adults to build better futures whether that be in further education or the workplace. Volunteers we’re on hand to fetch food & drinks during the event for a small donation so the crowd could enjoy the show. It is anticipated that the fundraising event will help the charity to develop further projects to support the local community in 2018
