Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for new volunteers, be this on a regular basis or just a few hours, it all helps and makes a big difference.

Why not help us Make it Red in December and help with our annual Christmas Appeal 2017?

Help us Make it Red Together – Christmas Appeal 2017
This Christmas Appeal sees Loveworks launch their campaign Red Together in November. We are asking the community to get on board and support the campaign by either Wear it Red Together or Give it Red Together.  We need your help to Make it Red this Christmas once all the donations are in. Can you support us?

If you would like to help out and make a difference to those in greatest need within our community contact us at any time for more information. Just contact us by email at info@loveworks.org.uk or call us on 07912 628013.

Food Banks
Loveworks runs three food banks, two in Merstham and another in Reigate. The food banks are for local people in need, manned by local people who are volunteers, willing to participate and put something back into their communities.

Our food banks are open on Tuesday afternoon between 4pm and 6pm, on Wednesday evening between 6.30pm and 8pm, and on Saturday afternoon between 2pm and 5pm.  Volunteers are usually only required to be available one week in four.  Find out more here.

Cuppa Tea Club
This vibrant and busy older people’s delivery helps those people in our community who are lonely or isolated to get out and meet friends. The event takes place once a month at the Arkle Manor pub on the Dorking Road and is a great opportunity to meet with our older people, chat and make friends, while making a real difference.

We also are working with Abbeyfield residential home in Somers Road, Reigate to provide opportunities for their residents to meet and be social with other local groups and associations which support older people.

Are you willing to offer some of your time to listen and to become involved so that older people in our community are not isolated and have a social event to look forward to on a regular basis? If so, just contact us by email at info@loveworks.org.uk or call us on 07912 628013.

Our Way2Go project has been designed to help those in our local community who want to increase their confidence and belief in themselves. Led by professional coaches it is a personal development programme including one-to-one mentoring and interactive group workshops. The course is tailored for individual needs to enable everyone to become the very best version of themselves.

We would love to hear from individuals, organisations and trainers who would like to be part of this exciting opportunity in helping others in the local community find a brighter future and ignite their confidence. Just contact us by email at info@loveworks.org.uk or call us on 07912 628013.
