Christmas Appeal 2021

Christmas 2021 is likely going to be another tough one for many local families and people.  Loveworks are now focussing on helping them have a ‘normal’ Christmas

We will be providing extra Christmas parcels for food bank users and for other individuals and families referred to us by partner agencies as being in need of a bit of extra help this Christmas.

How can you help?

Donate to support our work this Christmas

We urgently need financial donations to enable us to purchase:

  • Co-op or Sainsburys vouchers included in the Christmas parcels so that families can choose their own fresh meat, fruit and vegetables
  • food and hygiene items where there is a shortfall in donations

Please note we need all Christmas themed items by 13th Dec.

What do our food banks need this Christmas?

Our food banks run very low on the basics over the winter and it is important we keep providing these in addition to Christmas treats. We rely totally on donations so please support us this year.

For our urgent needs please see Foodbank urgent needs

Reverse Advent Calendar

Use the idea of Advent to help others. Rather than the usual Advent calendar where you open a window a day to see a picture, get a chocolate or some other goodie, instead you add a non-perishable food item or hygiene product to a box which you can then donate to Loveworks food banks.

If you are including Christmas we suggest just 12 days of Christmas as we pack our parcels from 13th Dec. See our advent calendar donation ideas here

Where can I drop donations?

Please note we are shut from 23rd Dec to 4th Jan.

  • Wed- Sat: 10-12pm – Loveworks, Unit 4, Redhill 23 Business Park, Redhill RH1 2GD
  • Mon – Fri: 10am-4pm Merstham Hub, Portland Drive, Merstham RH1 3HY
  • Mon-Fri: Nationwide, Reigate High Street

Or email

We expect to have a very busy Christmas, supporting people using our Merstham and Reigate food banks, and handing out an expected extra 200 Christmas Food parcels. All donations are very appreciated and will go straight towards helping make a ‘normal’ Christmas for people in need in our local community.

Thank you.
